I write letters to political prisoners through Amnesty International.
I always just start by saying that I want them to know there are people out here thinking of them and they are not forgotten.
Encourage them to keep the faith, stay strong ...etc

I don't know if you get any info about your inmate but if you do you can include some comments they can relate too.

Even just a funny card with a "How you doin'" is a thrill so don't stress over what to say...just do it...

Peace and Blessings to you:)

Talk about the outside world. this is what they are missing the most. Talk about the latest music, what you are doing, where you are going. Movies, animals. Anything and everything. You will be appreciated.
