ok want to get a camera for a 12 year old girl. i don't want to spend more than $150.00. i want to use it to take it to school events with friends (like field day or a dance)

OK i don't care about how responsible she is becuase if she breaks it she isn't getting another one and she knows that. I think she won't break it because she has a cell phone for about a year now not a scratch on it lol.

If the girl is interested in taking pictures, it is a great idea. The Kodak Easy Share cameras are easy to use and good picture takers. 12 years old is a good time to start out with a camera.
I am a working professional photographer and I carry a Kodak Easy Share in the glove compartment of my van at all times. I have taken many nice snapshots with it when I was not on an assignment and didn't have my professional gear with me.
