I have this SUPER easy job but I screw up alot (unintentionally). I got the last straw when I realized 2day when I got from work that I wrote all the dates of 2day on 2 dcmbr when we're the 3rd. I don't want my suprvisor to keep me cuz she feels sry 4 me. Is it a good idea if I tell her I screwed up AND that I understand if she fires me?

If I was my supervisor I'd honestly fire me. So is it a good or bad idea to tell her that she can fire me because I know I screw up alot?
Sry if I'm asking this alot..

i totally agree with the guys above; you don't need to give your super permission to fire you. just acknowledge you messed up, apologize profusely, tell her why you think you screwed up and then tell her what you'll do differently in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. however, if you're at the point where you not feeling comfortable and confident in your abilities to do the job, and if you feel like you shouldn't be there, you might want to start looking for another job. best of luck!!

I dont think it would be a good idea to give permission to be fired. If you havent been fired than your boss may feel that even if you make mistakes, you can get better at what you do. If your boss feels you should be let go then they will do it when they feel its the right time.

Just fess up that you screwed up. Apologize for the mistake. Look, nobody's perfect. We all screw up, even the boss screws up sometimes. Don't sweat it. You probably won't lose your job. Just be honest.

Know, too, that a boss doesn't need permission to fire someone.

Your supervisor already has permission to fire you. Your supervisor never needs to get permission from you to do that. So, don't TRY to give her permission to fire you because that just doesn't make any sense.

If you feel like you are not qualified for this job, then start looking for another job & quit.

If you get fired, then decide you need to collect unemployment, this could work against you.
