Because their need in the beginning has to do with self need.

They need to be helped out in a complete balance. I just saw this on the news tonight.

They Gave a girl her own home, to start they paid for education and she is now part of a New Life as she says.
Someone gave her the chance and she has succeeded. They are teaching her how to budget her money and giving her good advice to continue a so called healthy life style.
She has a mentor that looks over her daily life as to school ,paying bills, the importance of paying them,
Some grown ups don't even know .
THEY NEED HELP....Not hand outs. that's just an easy fix, and in the long run more costly.

Many people believe that to offer comfort to an addict, in the form of food, shelter and money, is to enable that person to continue his or her addiction, without seeking treatment for his or her addiction.
