Most of our shoulder launched rockets and missiles have a "Back Blast," which can very in its degree injury to anyone standing within this area. If you are close enough to the back end you can be killed. The projectile can either destroy a target or harmlessly richochet off of it, depending on the targets strength and the angle at which the projectile hits the target. The first generation bazookas could wreak havoc on bunkers but to destroy a tank it really depended on what type of tank and where the rocket hit it. The weakest areas of a tank are the belly, top of the turret, back of the vehicle or the tracks (may result in a mobility kill) and the front which is the heaviest armorer part of the tank.

If one goes off, the person standing behind will get fried from the rocket flames and the guy infront of the bazooka would blow up.
