No, helping them is what God/Jesus Christ encourage you to do. We do not know God's perfect plan, therefore, we do whatever we do that is religious and know that you're helping God in a way. But helping the poor is NOT undoing God's will.

It has been reported to me that God gave us all free will. Divine plan or not your actions do make a difference. Good or bad. I don't know where you get the idea that people deserve the misfortunes they have because they have sinned. In that same report I was told all of us have sinned in the eyes of God.
Now go make a sandwich and a cup of hot cocoa and then get in your hybrid and find someone who looks like they would appreciate the offer. Do this once a month for one year and then come back and tell us what you think of people's misfortunes and God's divine plan. Which is more real to you?

We are sinners just like they are. Perhaps we are worse sinners? The fact that some people are homeless/lose their jobs/poor does not mean it is because they sinned worse or even sinned more often then anyone else.
I bet you would be hard pressed to find a passage that states not to help those less fortunate then you because you are interfering with Gods wrath. What you will find is to the contrary.
We have choices, we can chose to help those who need help or we can turn our backs on them and rationalise it to make ourselves feel good about not helping.
Perhaps God does have a plan for us if we chose to listen and follow that plan. We are free to not follow those plans which may sometimes lead us to misfortunes. It doesn't mean that if misfortune falls on someone we can not help. If we do then we are all the more blessed for doing so.

Misfortunes aren't punishment for sin. Sometimes they are merely circumstance, sometimes they are the consequence of bad (sometimes sinful) choices. Sometimes it can be a combination of both.
Charity isn't undoing God's divine plan, it's fulfilling it. I don't know why bad things happen to people, but who are we to judge them? We are taught to help those in need, not to turn a blind eye or ignore the call to service.
Perhaps God's plan is to teach us through offering aid to others, and perhaps God's plan is to teach others through receiving aid from others.

God made Adam and Eve, and gave all authority of this world to Adam.
Adam in turn rebelled against God and as a result gave the authority of this world over to Satan.
God does not take back what He freely gives to man, but even so He made a promise that He would redeem mankind, (and the world) from Satan.
Satan now rules over this world, and because he knows how much God cares for us, inflicting pain is pure pleasure for him.
God has made a way for us who wish to live outside of Satan's rule. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to bring you and me out of the darkness and into the light.
the first time Jesus came to the earth, it was to save it; the second time He's comes it will be to judge it.

Wait one moment here- we are to help those less fortunate, we are to be Christ to them. People deserve the misfortunes they have. EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God's divine plan is for those who say they love Him, is the help these people. If we all got what we all deserved we would all be headed for hell. Jesus came to save us, so that we could reach out to help others see Christ too- where is your compassion?? I pray that if something bad comes your way, people do not listen to your advice, or you will not have anyone to help you, oh yeah, you deserve that- come on!

God calls us as christians to help the poor and the needy. Sometimes it is His will for us to intervene with that homeless persons life and to help them understand God's perfect plan and will.

To answer your question: No!
I don't believe God "Makes" them like that. I believe he lets nature take it's course, even if there is a glitch.
I don't believe in Fate. I believe he allows us to make our own decisions, regardless of what is to come. It's called Free Will.
I believe His plan is a little broader than what most people think. All of this; you, me, them, us... we are just the "icing on the cake".

Perhaps he placed them in that situation to strengthen them and test your resolve. Who can say.
Regardless, God has the ultimate Judgment since no one escapes from this Life -Alive.

no, what if our purpose was to help them? he has a plan for us, but we choose the path in which to take and possibly end up in a different plan than what god has set for us.
