I don't know if it's because I live in Michigan, but why would you have a 2 hour delay or the day off? It's only 3-5 inches of snow. I could see a 2 hour delay if you live in a school district that has a large percentage of rural routes, but other than that, I can't see it happening.

Depends on how much snow you guys usually get -- in Virginia where I went to high school, we would get school canceled for a mere 2 inches, but in Buffalo, NY where I spent winter breaks as a kid, 2 FEET was so common that people barely noticed!

I live in New Mexico, and if we got that much they'd just give us a snow day. We get hour delays for just ice.

100% snow doesn't mean that you'll get the expected accumulation.

The only thing that is 100% is that meteorologists are always wrong.

this isn't a real question, this is a hypothetical. to boot, no one even is conscious the position you're. the alternative is in accordance to an excellent style of aspects, NONE of which is also considered on Yahoo solutions.
