Peanut butter kisses, peanut butter blossoms, kiss cookies, they all mean the same thing, deliciousness ;)
Easiest recipe kiss recipe ever (and best tasting one in my opinion)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup peanut butter (either smooth or chunky)
2 cup baking mix (Jiffy if you can get it, or bisquick)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and peanut butter until smooth, add baking mix one cup at a time. Dough will be stiff. I use a cookie scoop (tablespoonfull) and bake for 8 minutes at 350, then I put kiss on top, kinda swirl motion and let rest.

I am sorry...everyone is wrong they are p-nut butter blossom cookies.... 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/4 cups peanut butter 2 1/2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 12 ounces Hershey chocolate kisses Thoroughly cream butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Refrigerate cookie dough for 2 hours. Form into round balls. Roll in granulated sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Immediately after removing from oven, place a Hershey Kiss in the center of each cookie. This is a real favorite of my grandchildren.

I don't know the name of it, but they're basically just a peanut butter cookie with a Hershey's Kiss pressed into the center. If you like those, then you should try "Peanut Butter Temptations". They're made the same way, but with a miniature Reece's Cup instead of a Hershey's Kiss.

It's just a peanut butter cookie...easy. Choose your fav recipe...and when it comes time to smash it, don't use a fork cross hatch pattern. Roll the dough ball in sugar, and dip a plain drinking glass (with a plain bottom) in sugar and flatten it with that. This is so that artistically, the kiss will be the highlight of the cookie, not the fork lines...but it wouldn't matter to the taste or outcome. I think you add the kisses immediately after baking...if you put them in the oven, they would melt all over (unless they are frozen first).

All the best recipes come from old church cookbooks. Seriously. We call them peanut blossoms too. They're like peanut butter cookies but fluffier.

I wonder if she will help me.
