I see a lot of people answering questions directed to Jehovah's Witnesses.....Obviously indoctrenated..Then they make the claim.."I am not a Witness"

Do you have to be baptized to call yourself a Witness?

This is a change, because when I was young I called myself a Witness even before I was baptized...

If you claim that you are not a witness, then why answer Witness questions?

It is the amount of time you put in going door to door and going to meetings and doing what you are told to do by those who are in charge of your mind!

Well I guess it depends on the person.

It hasn't changed much since you were young. Just many people study with us, and yet they are not JW's. it depends on the person if they want to claim to be one, or not.

A lot of people claim to be Witnesses. Like for example, in Mexico and Brazil, there are over 600,000 Witnesses , But they're are over 1,000,000 claim to be witnesses from serves, and reports.

I also think that some answer witness questions is that they respect us for what we are doing. Maybe someday, some may consider to become JW's someday.

Also we are known well by many too. Since we spend over a billion hours a year preaching to them.

Isa.44:6-8........“This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, ‘I am the first and I am the last, and besides me there is no God. 7 And who is there like me? Let him call out, that he may tell it and present it to me. From when I appointed the people of long ago, both the things coming and the things that will enter in let them tell on their part. 8 Do not be in dread, YOU people, and do not become stupefied. Have I not from that time on caused you individually to hear and told [it] out? And YOU are my witnesses. Does there exist a God besides me? No, there is no Rock. I have recognized none.’”............You must be Baptized and dedicate yourself in order to be called a Jehovah's Witness.

I answer the questions directed to them because I have researched their doctrine, but that does not mean that I agree with them. I answer question about other churches also, but that does not necessarily mean that I follow them.

I'm a witness, but not what people refer to as a JW. I'm a blood bought, old fashioned, soul winning, Bible believing, hell fire fighting, gospel preaching, hard working, Jesus loving, independant, fundamental BAPTIST. (any questions?)

Interesting question. I would assume that after the baptism and doing what the organization asks you to do.
