As far as agents- I googled in "Canadian music agents" and long lists came up. Heres one to get you started, but seriuously, its not that hard to do your own research.

No you have to go to Los Angeles
You need a professonal resume and picture
You can submit from Canada but if they want to see you you have to fly out on your own nickel.
