Get it to an import specialist (I don't take my cars to the dealer). Have them look it over. Some belts need to be replaced or else they'll cause more expensive damage if you don't.

There is only one belt try replacing it first. Can be done anywhere.... And I take offense "Not Take it to the Dealer" Statement. Dealer knows your car better and can also check it for open recalls and safety campaigns. Import and USA cars are so complex these days servicing is best done at the dealership. Nissan Techs and Master Technicians need money too. My tools,Laptop I purchased my self and out of that 80 to 100 an hour the technician gets 20/25 dollars an hour. Also your altima has at least 7 service campaigns that should be checked

get someone to check it out for you that knows about cars and then you will know for sure. I hope you get it fixed soon
