Well Technically there may be three. The two already mentioned Gabriel and Michael and one many not want to admit Satan. Then there the multitudes, and times when the "Angel of the Lord" but no names mentioned.

Gabriel was called an angel, Michael was called an archangel, and Lucifer was an anointed cherub before he became Satan. Raphael was mentioned in one of the books of the Apocrypha, but you won't find his name in the Bible itself, at least not the 39 books declared canonical.

Take your mom on a guided tour of www.blueletterbible.org and she'll be able to find a lot of good things. It's a start!

There are angels of light and angels of darkness in the Bible. Angels of darkness are the fallen angels.Just two angels of light are named. Gabriel and Michael the arch angel. Though Jesus said there are legions of angels that is countless but the Bible only mentions 2 angels of light and lucifer (angel of darkness) that is the devil who rebelled against God
