It's their nature. They claim to only hate "fundies" but truth of the matter is, they hate God and anyone who reminds them of Him.

Some people are jerks by nature. They exist in every belief system. I don't believe that happened to you though considering that Pagans are generally very tolerant whereas Christians generally are not. I'm Pagan and I hate being preached at but I have no issues with anyone wearing a cross necklace or similar jewelry. I have many friends who are Christian as well.
"Christians who did absolutely nothing to them?" Obviously you need to brush up on your history. Many Pagans dislike Christians because of the countless acts of violence and intolerance toward them throughout the ages. You wouldn't expect a Jew and a Neo-Nazi to get along. It's the same idea.

Thank you for saying "some Pagans" instead of stereotyping all Pagans in your question. Unfortunately, there are "bad apples" in every barrel. Sure, there are some claim-to-be Pagans who will stand up on the soapbox and scream about Christians, the burning times, how Pagans were persecuted, etc. etc. and they may be judgmental and intolerant toward Christians...but for most of us, that is not our way. I may dislike the way some Christians have treated me, but I don't dislike Christians, nor do any of the other Pagans I know.
Also, I do not "hate God", for whoever it was who stated that - I just view Goddess as equal to God. Also, many Pagans I know respect Jesus - we just don't adhere to Christian doctrine.
I have plenty of Christian friends and we get along just fine, respecting that we each have the right to our beliefs. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with some of the "bad apples".

To be fair we could easily justify hating Christians given how many Pagans have been massacred by Christians over the last 2000 or so years.
However hating people just cos of their religion isn't something the vast majority of Pagans would do-I certainly wouldn't.Of course there are crazy Pagans like there are crazy everything else.
How do you know they were Pagans though?Did they say they were or did you assume?

Why do some Jews still dislike Germans, eventhough none of them may be Nazi's now? The 'bad guys' are dead, but it doesn't mean they can't come back.
To even say that Christians did absolutely nothing to pagans is to make me wonder if you are even aware of the history of the religion to which you belong? Persecution of the other did not cease when Christians took office, as the legacy of the Salem witch trials clearly shows. And many of the confessions of 'witchcraft' obtained during those trials is circumspect at best. Lest it also be said, Joan of Arc was burned for witchcraft and heresy, so saying that pagans are a bit touchy around Christians (for no apparent reason) means that the legacy of such interactions is none to distant in many of their minds, even if 99% of them had nothing to do with such (in this life or any other.)

Why do people draw into the drama, and why are you feeding the drama? That was just one incident, with one person.
Who said that Pagans or even some Pagans dislike Christians? Ask that one Pagan why she had a beef with you.
___
All the answers are just awful. Christians don't hate Pagans because it is against their dogma to hate anyone. Pagans don't hate Christians because because it is against their dogma to hate anyone. Now you might find some who hate each other but that has nothing to do with the entire belief system or people in it.

When Christianity came around in the world, they persecuted pagans. But most Pagans I've met and know have respect for Christians and other peoples religions.

That's a pretty unusual bunch of Pagans you encountered, if that actually happened. Pagans are usually the "live and let live" type. However, we do have some issues with you all.
We dislike Christians because they have tortured and burned to death about 20 million people they thought were us. They've committed genocide through all the Americas and are still on Indian reservations preaching their lies and destroying our languages.
We are constantly harassed by Christians - I can't tell you the number of times I've been confronted about my pentagram - there are certain places in this country where a 2 inch silver pendant can get me killed and the police won't do much about it. We are discriminated against in the work place - I wore a winged Isis ring to work one time and a Catholic co-worker told everyone it was a bat and I must be a Satanist - and this was a woman with a college education, though is was a Catholic college.
Christians in parts of the country actively disrupt Pagan services and the police won't help. The Justice Department won't prosecute Hate Crimes against Pagans. Pagans are stalked, our pets killed, our businesses driven out of towns and our homes bombed. Someone here on R&S actually asked whether she should tell anybody that kids in her neighborhood were going to burn a Pagan woman's house down - shouldn't that be a no-brainer? How friendly would that make you?

Are you sure they were Pagans?
If so, perhaps they had recently been accosted by Christians for being Pagan?
Who knows?
Why do some Christians dislike Pagans so much?
Why do some Jews dislike Muslims so much?
Why do some Muslims dislike Buddhists so much?
Etc... etc... etc...

How do you know they were pagan?
we are generaly very kind...and to yell things at a person for wearing a cross dosn't seem right...the only explination that i can see is that they were just being a** holes. I am Pagan and i have many friends from many different ethnic back grounds and different religous views.

Odin is going to Bit** slap them. Then Thor is going to show them what Giants feel like when they have been hit by Mjoullnir.
If they where Asatruar, then i am sorry they gave you trouble.
If they are general pagans. (Wiccans and the like) Then its becuse they are only pagan to be different and "Misunderstood". They probably arn't real pagans.
edit:
To weird- The romans did. I dont mind if you bash the romans. Pagan is an umbrella term, please be specific. Other Pagans have about as many grieviences as wrongs. Which is why we dont complain about you.
oh! and since the vatican..... IS Christianty. (as in every scrap of anything before luther.... which is a good 1300 or so years at least.... came from catholicism....)
You may want to look at yourself first. Your answer is rather devoid of love for your brothers. Us heathens and Pagans arnt a different species. We are human to.
To crabee- You do all that to yourselves. You should like try, like reading the bible. I have read a good deal of it. Enough to know that you make Jesus puke, and that you havent read a single page of the bible yourself.
You also might try looking to see who is passing the laws, and who is really working to get them passed. I can assure you we dont have anything to do with it. (not my branch anyways. And the Jew's arent pagans so you cant blame them either.)
Its simple contradiction. Those that have really read the bible and studied it know that based on what you say you either have never read it and all you know about it is handfed to you by someone who hates jesus and what he was really saying.
Or, you yourself hate Jesus and what he was saying.
