eastern ideas are not bound by dogma, and would probably be more accepting of science to explain the natural world.

Different individuals believe different things in interpreting their guidelines . There are some within those faiths that believe strictly as their faiths proscribe. There are some that take certain moral stories more figuratively.

Myself, I believe in modern evolutionary synthesis, which includes Darwin's theory as well as Mendelian Inheritance...etc. etc. I still can go to temple and pray for peace without worrying about whether or not I may be a "hypocrite" for not believing in the wrote version of the old testament.

It is a theory, not a belief when Darwin was alive. Darwin later became a Christian. Species evolution has never been proven Not by Darwin, Not by anyone. So, No Christians and Jews do not believe Darwin's Theory is correct. I don't know about Hindus or Buddhist

Good answers....but here's some advice. Never take the word of a Christian about what Jews think or what Jews believe. It's impudent of them to answer for us. Jews have no problem with evolution or the Big Bang. We value education and learning and we are told to learn all we can about everything we can for all our lives.

Muslims seem to have have been given area truths of their faith. they say that Jesus is merely a prophet that's incorrect for he's the son of God. they say that it replaced into Ishmael no longer Isaac that replaced into virtually sacrificed by using Abraham. They do certainly accuse human beings of having replaced the Bible however the ineffective Sea Scrolls proved that a nonsense because of the fact the e book of Isaiah and the area of Genesis stumbled on is an identical. They fail to bear in mind that the Bible Scriptures have been written hundreds of years earlier Mohamed replaced into even theory-approximately. Mohamed is asserted to no longer have been waiting to examine or write for himself so possibly that's the undertaking if no longer that's much greater severe if he purposely brought about incorrect issues to be written down. He looks to have married a youthful female who replaced into too youthful, which isn't a solid occasion. that's going to, as you assert, be an identical God however the message has on condition that been distorted.

Catholics have no problem accepting Darwin's Theory, as this does not address the origin of life, just simply addresses the diversity of life, and the possible way it has progressed and evolved.

Buddhists, if aware of it, would most likely believe it, if they want to. Their religion does not address these issues, or tell them what to believe.

I imagine, the jewish faith most likely has a diversity in what it's members believe.

Couldn't tell you about Hindu's in general, but Islam would definitely not believe in it..

They accept it.

And any educated Muslim accepts it as well, despite the well-funded efforts of Harun Yahya.

Darwin's degree was in theology, and before his death he was agnostic (due to the death of his favorite daughter). It is a lie that Darwin re-embraced Christianity.

Any Jew can tell you Genesis is allegorical, which explains why many evolutionary biologists, physicists and doctors are Jewish. Their culture is rooted in scientific exploration. I have never met a Jew who is a Six Day Creationist.

Of evolution? I can't speak for anyone else but most of us (Jews) do. The Torah actually supports the theory of evolution.

No. The whole idea of a common ancestry with primates is simply too sci-fi for me. I read an article several months ago that said all the physical "evidence" for evolution would fit on the top of a desk.
