Go to your local shelter... the last shelter I went to was 80% Pit bulls that needed homes.

For every dog that is bought from a pet shop, a dog dies at the shelter.
There are always lots of pit bull puppies at shelters.
Do yourself and a pup a favor and visit your local pound.
I'm sure there is a darling baby just waiting for you to come for him.

I know that www.petfinder.com has quite a few in the northern California area. Try there.

go to the search engine and type in Straffordshire Bull Terrier in California and then just e-mail the breeder and ask if they still have any available

Please, please, please look on petfinder.com. There are so many in shelters that need homes and any sort of bull terriers are always the last ones to get adopted and are often euthanized first. Plus 25% of them are purebred, although I prefer mutts! Good Luck
