Yes it's bad that he calls you this. Not only is it disrespectful to you, but he knows that you don't like it and he still continues to do it. This shows that he has little respect for your wishes and is very inconsiderate.

Yes, and he is just being disrespectful toward you. I don't know any guy would like to be called c****, period. Even if he change the first letter to h and call you a hunt, he is still calling you a c****. soon he will be calling you other names, as long he can get away with one.

Your boyfriend says he's joking? Ha ha, how hilariously funny (!)
Yes of course it's bad! Do you really need to ask this question - instead ask yourself if you want to be with a guy who calls the people closest to him "cÆ°nts"?
You are right in saying that it is offensive - it is a disgusting and degrading word! Think about it...

Yes, this is 1 a nasty name and you've told him that you don't like it and names that he gives that obviously sound the same should never be used.
2 You are not a guy friend, you are a girlfriend. He doesn't kis his guy friends does he? You are not the same as them and should be treated differently to them.

I think he might be immature and started calling his friends that because it got a laugh out of them, and now he's so used to it he lets it slip and fly when referring to you. He's probably not being malicious about it, but it is still inappropriate. You said it yourself - it offends you, and he ought to care about that. You should repeatedly remind him not to call you that and don't gratify him by laughing it off. Visibly appear hurt when he calls you the c-word. If he doesn't learn or he doesn't seem to want to, you should probably get rid of this guy. He's probably not very mature.

Number one, if you told him you don't like it than he shouldn't even trying to be funny about it. You need to check him ASAP and let him know you do not like it! Changing the first letter or not. It's a degrading name for a woman. If you let him get away with this, than he'll just tramp all over you!

It's disrespectful, especially since you have already let him know that you don't like it. If anyone continues to treat you in a way that you don't appreciate after you've addressed the issue, you should cut them loose. It's open disrespect and you should not put up with it.

He is verbally abusive. He is a loser and you need to lose him and find a real man that will treat you with the love and respect you deserve.
Many verbal abusers turn into physical abusers, it is part of the pattern of abuse. Get out now before you get physically abused and badly hurt.
Good luck.

It's not funny. It is rude and extremely disrespectful. If he continues to do this move on. You don't need this in your life. There are guys out there that will treat you with the respect and care you deserve.

It's not a good sign, even if you try to justify it for him. This word should really not be in a man's vocabulary, if he has any real respect for the female race. Isn't it interesting how there's no real equivalent term for males?
