There is NO way we could tell you whether or not you should move. I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

I find it funny someone whose beliefs are often misrepresnted, such as a witch, would make a judgement of cult against my faith.

While you are under their roof, it would be, among other things, disrespectful for you to pursue Witchcraft, so for that reason you may wish to move.

First you don't have enough money to move out especially all the way to Ohio and second you would need a job lined up before you got there so you could pay your rent and etc.
I agree that JW is a cult of sorts *shudders* but you need to kinda lay low and save all the $ you can b4 you leave unless you want to live in a box or maybe (if theres room) a shelter for the homeless. Also don't forget that it's freezing cold in Ohio now ;o)

Good luck!

Wow - there's alot of issues in such a short paragraph! I am so sorry to hear that you lost your mother - that has got to be very tough for you.

JW's are not a cult, it is a life-style of choise through religion. They are normal people otherwise. Very kind and loving people.

You didn't mention how old you are and depending on that, you could have your own choise for where you want to live. But you've got to think it out - $1,200 will not get you far at all! Where will you live? How will you get food to eat? Is there someone there who is willing to help you start fresh?

For now, you can be thankful that family is providing a safe and caring place for all your needs. Never be afraid to talk with your aunt and uncle about ANYthing. Your life is going through a huge and major adjustment right now so your fears are normal - give yourself loving persmission to feel and deal with your ideas.

Yes, get out of there.
See if you can roost with a friend or relative in Ohio until you find a job.
Look through the wantads on Craigslist for a garage apartment or other digs you can afford.
$1200 may not be much, but if a friend or relative can provide the launching pad, then you might have enough left over to put a deposit down somewhere.
