The brakes are the most important safety featur on your vehicle, even more important than your steering wheel. They're the only thing to stop you or slow you down, and judging by the fact that you vary speeds hundreds of times on a 5 minute drive, you will get hurt driving that far, especially through the mountains you'll have to drive through in those locations. Buy some brakes, they're usually only a few dollars if you install yourself, and I would think that you're safety and well-being are more important than a few bucks. Hope you make the right decision!!:)

Get your brakes fixed. You are going to kill somebody, and when they discover you have faulty brakes, you are going to be paying a legal settlement for the rest of your life.

Get your brakes fixed before you get on the road.

The chances are very high. You might as well not use that vehicle because not only are you putting yourself in danger, you are putting other people on the road in danger. Be responsible.
