is there a one true religion? i think that there can be only one true religion, because a thing cannot be false and true at the same time, and therefore all religions that contradict the teaching of the true Church must teach falsehood. If all religions in which men seek to serve God are equally good and true, why did Christ disturb the Jewish religion and the Apostles condemn heretics?

Yes, there is. But people doesn't want to believe it, so the point is moot. Without looking at the fact and looking at it in an objective way, there'll be even little chance of relising that one fact. Not even the group within a particular religion itself agrees with each other about their own believes, so even when there is a one true religion, and there is one, there is little chance it can change the circumstances in which we're now. Devil won't have it. The division is music to his ears.

Well in my opinion which is really is not the most exper-Tst
I am a christian
Mormon=beleive Jesus is God! Joseph Smith..well at one point he had one of the Priest guys come with him and he said how something that God gave me these rocks and when i put them in the hat.. I can read a certain words that are truth!
Well he told the priest guy that he noone must see this. The priest took some of the papers and showed them to his wife. His wife said maybe he was making it up! So the priest goes back and tells Joseph Smith ''sorry my wife took the papers because i wanted to shoe them to her'' He was angry! He said god will let him do it again but it will be a differently worded..Not the exact same. That tells me that its just that he is making it up!
Catholics=believe that they should Pray to Marry! when it directly says in the bible.. only pray to God!
God made the Bible and Catholics and Mormons are why i just dont beleive them!
Mormons believe everything is a symbol basically! they are a bit blind to me from Joseph Smith. They dont get to beleive what they want right away because there sons and daughters become mormon and dont have much of the choice but to believe what they are given
Catholics beleive to pray to mary so they could have the same courage!
Crhistians just follow whatever the bible!
In the Old times when the world was just new! There were no mormons at the time! Are mormons not noticing that the other people just went nowhere at all since most were chirstians and Juish(cant spell)! Most mormons belive what they believe now because ''The Book Of Mormon'' is the Newest religion!
Im just a Kid you may say and i dont understand..but that is the basics that i know which shows me most that Christians are True enough for me!

What is real in your head is real. That is it. What you give your soul to because you have such sheer belief for it is true. What goes on in your head is what you will create your standards and beliefs by, and this will mold your actions, this will shape your life, this will be extremely and singularly real to you. Because really, when you die, your life will be measured by what you have done. I shy away from the word religion because it is so incredibly organized and impersonal, and reflects so little of the real thought emanating from your beautiful mind. There is one true spirituality and it has no cares for the walls, the bulleted outlines and strictly confining corsets of organized religion. How you interact with others is real, and these interactions amalgamate with emotions spawning from your everyday life to create thought. Your thought is real to you and it is the only real thing to you. Everything will slowly leave you but your individuality.

You would have to prove that any particular religion was indeed true.
There's no evidence for the existence for a god or gods.
God is imaginary, which explains why there are so many religions, and why they sometimes contradict each other, and why religious texts have contradictions within them.

I believe that the catholic Church is the true and full church but i do not believe that that makes other churches or religions false but incomplete and out of union and full communion with the church Christ founded. There are many saints outside the catholic Church and Christian religion

In this world of against and pairs, there isn't a true one.True and false are against but they are in pair. How to perfectly and easily explain true if there isn't the word false. Now to brench mark ?We can only accepted when we know that this is the kind of world we are in.Knowing that there will not be 100%.Noone can perfectly agree to what we said. There is agreed and there is disagreed. We change our own mindset to accepted the outcome.Changing other is much difficult than ourselves. We change to accept good and bad alike.Different and same alike but we know the different and the truth.May God bless all and merry christmas to all.Amitabha

it is christianity. most religions agree with the Old Testament of the Bible, but most other religions follow a "Works get u to heaven" system. from the old testament we realize we have all sinned and cannot earn our way to heaven, Isaiah says "all our good works r like filthy rags to the Lord" so we cannot earn our way to Heaven. So we need a sacrifice, Jesus, to pay the punishment of sin. in Romans "the wages of sin is death" so believing in Jesus takes away our sin. look into it more and it will all make sense.

i was born into a christian home, and ive researched other religions and i know about them but christianity is the only one that i truly feel is right. there is evidence christ existed and this religion has prospered and exsisted for thousands of years. others like mormans and church of Satan have just recently been found. i know there's a first for everything but i don't think its right because its so new. also i currently go to a nondemonitary church and i think there is a lot of freedom in the christian religion. but thats me, whatever floats your boat

see John 10:16 Jesus says He has sheep IN other folds.
God's people can be IN any religion! But each must study for themselves in order to gain that personal relationship with Him. There is One true religion but one must seek out truth in order to find it. see links below if truely interested in seeking truth

Monotheistic religions will all say their religion is the only true one. I've found that other religions are more tolerant and accept that other religions can be just as valid as theirs.

I personally don't think my religion is for everyone and that their religion is probably best for them. For me, my family, friends and others of the community - it is the true religion for us.
