Religion has been in the forfront of most of the horrible things done in the world.
Let the people think God is on our side and they are the devil and you have an army ready to go.
this is going on in the world today. Look at the genocide of the African people by the Islamic forces. Thousands exterminated and 20 or 30 same say 50,000 children kidnapped to be used as sex slaves. Does any religion speak out against these atrocities? no they have Islam,
the Catholic church and other religons. who is speaking out for these people? it is not even in the news anymore.

The atrocities against Non Catholics were evil and have been condemned by pope John Paul II.
The atrocities against Catholics by Protestants, Orthodox ,Muslims, Atheists, etc and others were also evil and I am still waiting for the condemnation of those atrocities and persecutions by the leadershipof most protestant,Orthodox,Atheist and Muslim groups
Most unbiased modern scholars of the Inquisitions, etc have noted that Anti Catholics have immensely exaggerated the numbers of victims.
Why do anti Catholics want to hold me and all Catholics responsible for evils of generations and centuries ago? How is that different from those who want to hold modern Jews responsible for the death of the Jewish Christ? Please let us all get over our bigotries and lean how to forgive the past, especially the remote past

I don't think past mistake should be brought up. but if people find entertainment in it, then anyone can go ahead and dig it up. I find no amusement in it, especially the holocaust.

Really the pope already admitted and apologized.
So tell me, then what more do you want? Nothing's covered up.. nothing is in hiding.
I don't understand your problem...
