I was just wondering if a delinquent parent's are also some how penalized for their child's wrong doings? Are they or is it the kid that gets all the legal trouble?

Parents are legally responsible for their children until they are 18. That would also include any crimal acitivity (attorneys or fines) and also if there child kills or hurts someone (in a car etc). Parents can be sued for their childs activities....so yes parents are held legally responsible for their childrens crimes.

In my state, the parents of a delinquent get to do a Case Plan.

Parents should be held accountable for anything their minor child does. Maybe these parents might take a better look at how horribly they are raising their children.

They used to be but when Hillery declared that the state is responsible for the children and the parents can no longer discipline them .

Parents can be held liable for the actions of their children. This liability can be both civil and criminal.
