Were you the one paying for it, if you were, no you're not wrong. If it was a gift but he maintained it, I would not agree with you for disconnecting it. I would tell you however to kick his a** to the curb.

From now on don't buy anything else for someone until you know them 100%. I think it is great that you wonder if you were right or wrong.
Since you gave him the phone it was his phone. To take it away is wrong but you did not say you did that. If you gave it to him then let him keep it and tell him to buy his own service from now on. Don't take it back if you gave it to him because that is considered being an Indian Giver.
To disconnect it is only wrong if he paid for the service. If you paid for the service then it is not wrong. And in everything you do from now on always pray about it and keep using your conscience to ask yourself is it wrong or right before you do it.
If you keep praying you will find a guy that won't cheat on you. May God bless you.

If you paid for the service (as well as the phone) then it's fine. But if he's lying to you and cheating on you, I doubt that will help much at this point. You seriously reconsider if you still want to be with someone who is going to treat you like that.

You said you were the one who bought his cell phone, obviously your main objective of giving him the cell phone is to be use for a good purpose., am I right?
It is right move on your part to have his cell phone disconnected he cheated you and it did not serve the good purpose.
Thanks.

YOU TOOO!!!! ok, i thought i was along on that one. no you are right. you were right in every way to do that. its your phone and you were paying for the bill. you did the right thing. i did the same thing and i dont regret it. i moved on. its gonna take time but i moved on. what you need to do is forgive him and the other girl. if you dont, its going to eat at you as long as you are carrying around that pain. but, dont forget. that way you will make sure it will never happen to you again. i know easier said than done. but, it works.

If the phone is under your contract, you can do whatever you want with it, including cut it off. Tell him to take some responsibility and get his own phone, then dump him.
