This thought/question occurred to me this morning.

Can someone who doesn't have the five senses know God just as well as someone with any or all of the five senses? If so, how so. If not, why not?

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. This is a really neat question because some people do not have all five senses and they have come to know the Lord. Some have all five and do not know God.

Logically we could say that we definately need to hear or read the word and have a way to understand about what God's salvation is about. But if you are speaking about the " real " kind of knowing then the part of us that can lay hold of God and apprehend and substantiate the matters related to God then that part is our spirit. This part of us made to Match God Who Himself, is Spirit.

Did you notice something about the Lord during His earthly ministry. He went about healing people's hearing organ. Healing their seeing organ. Touching them so that they can know Him. These ones, He gave Himself to as the Bread of Life and the Living water.

So I believe that intially we need our physical senses to know God but then we need to know Him deeper and more intimately in our spirits.

Very interesting Q brother

i could say the God is unknowable to the 5 senses. he's not of the particular international and so won't be able to be perceived by using the 5 actual senses. the only requirement for understanding God is posessing a spirit on the grounds that it extremely is the only point on which we are able to appreciate God. One need no longer actually have a physique to appreciate God, purely a spirit. With Love, Shane ok.

God prefers "sense of hearing"
Lucifer uses "sense of seeing"

Hearing, because He uses the preachers to spread His word, and it goes directly from your ear to your heart..

while, Lucifer, uses beauty and apprently good things to deceive people..
