Not all Christians are Catholic (the church the Pope heads), for starters. Not all Christians are opposed to birth control, either.
Besides, one could get philosophical here and say that it's nearly impossible to discern God's will, and how do we humans know birth control isn't the will of God?

Catholicism officially condemns it. Most other branches of Christianity do not. The argument does indeed go back to the idea that it interfere's with God's will and the very deep-rooted belief in Catholicism that sex is for reproduction.

The pope doesn't speak for all or even most Christians.
Protestants are for birth control and think that old man has been too much into the altar wine.

I think the Catholic Church is the only church that is against it. It comes from the part of the Bible that says be fruitful and multiply. That doesn't mean we have to have children. Our species has been very good at it all over the world. A little too good.

Rephrase that......THE VATICAN condemns birth control. Do you think Jesus envisioned the palace complex that is Vatican city when he talked about salvation and helping the needy. I don't think so....if abortion is bad, then birth control can't be just as evil because it prevents the former from having to take place.

what number Christians have self belief that the international revolves around the earth and not any different way around? Many Christians use to have self belief this? Galileo replaced into abused for thinking that the earth revolved around the solar. you may in basic terms see that the international is over populated and start administration is powerful. whether, the Catholic Church and a few radicals fail to confirm this. i'm against Abortion a hundred%. i'm against human beings fornicating. As for married couples employing start administration, this is okay and easily very loving to the international. there's a nut in my parish that have self belief that Catholics could have super families using fact the United State will quickly be over run by way of Muslims. what type of have self belief is that? in no way Christian. i'm Catholic and that i've got not got self belief that start administration is evil using fact the Church says that this is. we ought to commence following Jesus instead of attempting to coach and disprove our have self belief device. in case you think of start administration is evil, so what. i do no longer and maximum Christians do no longer as you have spoke of. What have you ever found out from following the "classic latin Mass?" Has it introduced you closer to Jesus or has it brought about you in figuring out in a polarizing way that asserts "i'm authentic and you're incorrect" i do no longer think of Jesus ever replaced right into a instructor of i'm authentic and you're incorrect. rather, he rebuked people who believed that they have been authentic by way of there very own self righteousness. i wish you do no longer fall into this development using fact the Pharisees did. could the peace of the Lord be with you.

Sex is supposed to have one meaning and that is to pro-create. Condoms or any birth control hinder what sex is supposed to be about. Sex is not for fun.
This is the same reason why gays were first looked down on. It wasn't because it was a man and a man. It was because if two men have sex they are not pro-creating.

In an ideal world people are suppose to refrain from sex until they are with someone that they love. People are suppose to take responsibility for their actions, I guess that the church is naive to think these things.
