Experiments are... well, experiments. There's no guarantee of success when a band doesn't stick to a cut-and-dried formula. Then again, some bands become stale doing that sort of things. I haven't followed AC/DC's latest stuff because it does pretty much sound the same, if not as good, as their earlier works. It all comes down to whether it can connect to the listeners. Opeth, for example, have played around with their sound quite a bit over 9 albums so that almost every album has a distinct sound to it. Their fan base has been growing very well (especially after signing onto Roadrunner Records).

The soul is the only part of a person that is in the image and likeness of God. When He created man, He placed the soul in the man. No evolving!

Some people believe everything has a soul and that souls are not just people. Other people believe there are no such things as souls.
Every idea about souls is a personal belief and you will find many variations about this.

its hard to look into the eyes of a loved pet, dog, cat, bird, whatever, and not believe they have a soul. they love us, look out for us, give us companion ship, yet they are soul-less? in my opinion, animals have souls. even some wild animals live in groups based on family and protect their young.... they must have souls.

If you follow the bible then when we had the knowledge of right and wrong/good and evil, we could sin. So I guess that's when we have a soul, when we can choose, with other than instinct, what actions we take.

Never!
Man IS a soul, and does not HAVE a soul as mistakenly portrayed by so-called "christians".
When men die, they go back to the dust and are then conscious of nothing at all. Since man is a soul, when he dies, everything dies, and actually he is the same as an animal in this regard, as it says this exactly in the scriptures below:
(Ecclesiastes 3:18-22) . . .I, even I, have said in my heart with regard to the sons of mankind that the [true] God is going to select them, that they may see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust. 21 Who is there knowing the spirit of the sons of mankind, whether it is ascending upward; and the spirit of the beast, whether it is descending downward to the earth? 22 And I have seen that there is nothing better than that the man should rejoice in his works, for that is his portion; because who will bring him in to look on what is going to be after him?

Exactly.
This means that either animals do have souls (and All Dogs Go To Heaven, lol) or that we don't have souls.
Makes you wonder how true the Bible is, doesn't it?
