Michele Yeoh starred as Wing Chun in the movie "Wing Chun". Fun movie to watch.
Sue Shiomi is a Japanese girl who played with Sonny Chiba a few times. She's hot and badazz.
Oh! My Young Auntie, is a Shaw Bros movie. It's funny and awesome!

Milla Jovovich has starred in some pretty cool action movies like "The Fifth Element", "The Resident Evil Trilogy" and "Ultraviolet". Cynthia Rothrock also starred in a lot of Hong Kong Martial Arts flick back in the 80s. And Bond girl Michelle Yeoh starred in a lot of HK MA films back in the 80s too, way before she did "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". There was also a female Japanese stunt woman turned action star whose screen name in Asia was Cynthia Luster, real name Oshima Yukari who did a lot of high octane HK action movies, you can try googling her. But so far the best female MA movie in my book at present is "KiIl Bill Vol 1 & 2". The "Charlie's Angels" movies wasn't all that bad either. Oh I almost forgot, "Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever" starring Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu is another good female action film.

if u wanted realistic martial arts this doesn't apply but crouching tiger hidden dragon and house of flying daggers both have zhang zhiyi
