I'm thankful that my children are healthy, we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and clothes on our backs. It sounds simplistic, but there are so many among us without even these basic necessities. I learned long ago never to take the little things for granted.
Christmas is a time for family, forging bonds, creating memories, and letting others know we care. It's not about what we buy, but rather, what we give from our hearts.

This Christmas I am so thankful for my faith. I just recently got saved and my outlook on life is so much different. Although I have not been saved for a very long time, my spirituality and relationship with Jesus is something I would not give up for anything. I am so greatful that I am where I am at. The holiday season is very important to me. It is a time to celebrate my savior and spend time with my family. I hope that for Christmases to come, that they can have the same faith I have.

Ohhh I love this time of year. It's the music and the lights and gifts (not even expensive ones, just gifts in general. It's always nice to know someone thought of you) and the eggnog and the food (mmmmmmm food) and the family and the parties and the smell of ice and snow in the air and all the good cheer.....I REALLY love this time of year.
Happy Yule to you and yours!!

Its a season to get through. A bunch of 'holidays' with pagan backgrounds that have been secularised and developed into marketing enterprises. Crowded stores, traffic, can't go shopping for six weeks.
Christmas is the worse example, originally from the pagan festival Saturnalia...look it up yourself. I has nothing to do with Christ's birthday, which is not known, but is known that it was not in the dead of winter.
