spaghetti is not a naturally occurring carbohydrate so it should be consumed in minimal amounts for optimum health. it would be much better if you either included some meat balls or sauce with meat. a big bowl of processed carbohydrates is not very healthy, it may not effect you now in your teens but when you get older it will.

You're so lucky to have a high metabolism.
But, If you have spaghetti, make sure you have some Veggies in there too. It's nice that you like such a fairly healthy meal, but don't just eat spaghetti ALL the time, Have a variety of foods throughout the week.
Excercise and you'll be fine.
I like casseroles, because you can have all the food groups in there. Pasta(Grains), Veggies(Fruits and Vegetables), Cheese (Dairy), ground beef (meat).
Be sure to choose low fat cheese though, as the fat can really add up.

A whole flour, natural spaghetti is not bad for you.
Also, more than the spaghetti is what you have it with.
If you add to it veggies, fish, meat, and healthy sauces like tomatoes, I would not worry to much about it.
There are worst things you can eat.

If you're worried about nutrition, try a whole grain pasta and a lower fat cheese. Too much of anything isn't good for you if you sacrifice the other food groups.

a balance is good, I have it one or 2 times a week..
even say tuna and pasta for a change is good.. and yep wholemeal pasta is healthier for ya.
how about mixing it up the odd time, dunno baked potato.. chicken another day..
everything in moderation. but looking at the spag boll sauce, the salt % is like 24-25% of ya daily amount.. so it's quite a lot..
it's far from the most un healthy thing you could eat,but for me it would get boring, although I have it a lot.

Get whole-grain spaghetti instead.
Try it with tomato sauce, not white sauce.
Include vegetables, like celery, onions, carrots, broccoli, etc.

It's the starch that is bad for you. You can reduce the starch in pasta by putting vinegar in the water.

yes, eating too much of it can be VERY bad for you.
it doesnt have alot of nutriets in it that you need to be healthy.
my sisters friend went to italy and all she ate was pasta, and when she got back she had gotten a disease from eating too much of it.
