I just say in the news where a 13 year old girl committed suicide over a myspace relationship she thought she was in with another boy her age. Turns out it was the mother of a former friend of the girl. This really upsets me, that an adult would act so carelessly and childish. Due to this fool woman’s involvement in an argument her daughter was in with this poor girl that hung herself. Yet there will be no charges filed. That is ashamed that a grown woman has to pick on a 13 year old girl. Here is the news article. I would like to see what you all think and feel on it. I am really upset by this!!!

I think it is sick and really childish.
People don't realize how words really can kill. I mean she was odviously depressed and needed encouragement, and uplifting by the Parents. She also spent to much time looking for edification form boys or other people over the internet and didn't get enough from her Parents or other memebers of her family. Wow that is sad that Grown ups have to be so petty over children calling each other names. It happends but our children need to know who they are what they mean to us and to our families and to have love and guidence at all times. Then they won't worry about what other people think because they have confidence in who they are and will be.

That's really horrible and I believe that Megan's parents never should have let her have an online relationship at the age of 13, knowing how dangerous the web really is. But Mrs. Drew is an example of a truly bad person because any parent who acts like that obviously isn't being much of a parent at all.

If you go to a diffrent website and serch it you'll find more information, they lived down the road this girl was born with a dresspression problem, some people were, I am, I take anti-depresdants, but again they lived really close to the girl and they knew she was suffering from depression, they probably knew she was gonna do that, But to think, her parent.....wow finding there daughter in her closet hanging from a belt....I would be pretty saddd

I think that it is extremely sad. The poor girl already had mental problems, all those parents did was make it worse on MySpace.

After reading this story, it made me appreciate my sanity (well, I'm not depressed)and my parents who would NEVER do such a thing.

I hope this girl's memory lasts a long time and that the horrible mother who did this to her will never forget what she did.

I think it very tragic and upsetting. I saw an interview with the parents on TV. Supposedly the woman who was playing the role of boyfriend to her wanted to "know what she was up to" and I read that her daughter was in on it too. In a lot of ways the net can lead to trouble, and this is an extreme case.

I was upset by it too. Adults have no right to interfere in the relationships of their children like that. I think it was inappropriate and I think some charges should be filed against the woman. That was irresponsible and down right cruel.

I always find it funny here on YA the number of people that come on here aying they're going to kill themselves. Not so much tht part, but the number of idiots that come on and tell the poster to just kill themselves. Does no one understand here that telling someone to kill themselves online can still make them liable for their death? That's what I find funny.

As for the original case, I find it highly disturbing that a parent would do that. Just another case showing that the morons are breeding and passing bad genes into another generation.

I think there should be some sort of conspiracy law that would apply to this case, but maybe there isn't. For the parent to knowingly do something like this is just heinous, and is deserving of some sort of punishment.
The mom and all involved are just evil people, and should be treated as such.

That woman is very immature. If I were her I would feel so guilty about what happened. If I knew her, I wouldn't have anything to do with her again.
