Im a Marine reservist currently on active duty as a medical hold from wounds received in iraq. Do i need to get the active duty or reserve cutting score for promotion?

If you were on active duty when you were injured you will remain on active duty until your medically cleared (Returned to duty) or you are medically discharged from service. All promotions will be based on active duty and previous soldier reviews.

you will fall in with the promotions system that your unit normally uses. They are supposed still look at you for promotions as normal.
