Suppose you have been away from someone or something that you love for a long time. Then you get together again and, of course, you wanna spend as much time as you can with that person or thing you once missed so much. My question: what expression do you use to express the idea of " iwanna spend time so as to stop missing it or her or he...? in other words, I want to stop this longing feeling...

You express it quite well actually - basically we just say "I missed you." pretty unimaginative but it really come from the heart and is usually well received. Good luck!
