This is a great question, probably one of the best I've seen posted...thanks. I see how far mankind had fallen. I see the extent that God will go to save mankind. I see the love of Christ in all its fullness. I see the wisdom of God. I see the fulfillment of prophesy. I see Satan defeated. I see a question that I cannot adequately answer. Thanks again!

There is a song that speaks of this same issue-
"IT should have my hands, it should have been my feet, where the nails were."
When I see the cross , I see salvation for all who seek Him

A reminder that Jesus died for me. I'd rather see a plain cross than the ones with a dead Jesus on it.
Jesus rose from the tomb. I would rather think about that part of it!

A horrible, very painful way to die.
If I was crucified, it's not the first thing I'd want to see around the neck of someone who supposedly loved me, that's for sure.

The love Jesus had for us worthless sinners.
So much love to things so unlovely.
Thank you, Lord Jesus!
