i lost a friend Dec 1, 2007, this past saturday. It hurts really bad and the sorrow has actually turned to anger. anger of life. i just keep thinking of how he started his day before he was shot down at 8:30p.m by someone who was so evil. i think about how many people he talked to that day or how he had planned his day out to be. He just had a baby girl 3mos i see him being with his baby and the other kids or talking to his mom telling her he'd be home whenever. He never got to see that and now his life being taken has hurt not only me but his family and everyone who loved him. why? why are people born into families that abuse them or harm them? we have no say so of anything but the present time. We couldnt chose our parents. NO one living asked to be here. Why should those who suffer, suffer for someone elses mistakes in life? i think the world is just f'kd up. i mean its not right that someone has to die so young. He just turned 28. I read about an 18 and 9 yr old getting killed why

I'm sorry to hear that. At around this time last year a friend of mine was killed in a car accident by some idiot high school kids racing in their overpowered trucks. He was almost 35.

No, life isn't fair. The best we can do is try to level the playing field.

For a lot of people, by the way, it is this kind of senseless loss that makes them turn to God. It makes them feel better that somehow, some way, there was a reason. For me, however, it's one of the reasons I can't imagine there possibly is a god, because how can we be expected to worship and love somebody who's doing this stuff on PURPOSE?

That's a really really good question, one which I've asked myself many times. Your story about your friend reminds me of all the thousands of young men who died horrible deaths just 60 years ago during WWII. They went there in their teens or early 20's and never came back. They would never have wives or families, and never see their friends or parents again. Just snuffed out by the thousands and millions. So I think on this and the answer to your question is we are born into our lot in this world. Some are just more fortunate than others. I don't think God has anything to do with it, its all just nature acting itself out. There's no morality to it. Some babies get born with AIDS or leukemia and die within months. Other people live long and healthy lives. Its all a throw of the dice and its all about luck. The key is to learn to accept everything that has happened to you and move forward with a detached attitude. That's the only way to deal effectively with life's pain.

Becouse of sinn death entered into the world.
Sinn is the failure of man ,to obey GOD.
God is love,HE does not need people or take young children away from theyr parents.
HE does not take pleasure in someone dying, but wants all to keep on living even forever.
HE has made provisions to abolish death.
The Destruction of Death. At Isaiah 25:8 the prophetic promise is made that God “will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” The sting producing death is sin (1Co 15:56), and thus all having sin and its accompanying imperfection have death working in their bodies. (Ro 7:13, 23, 24) The abolition of death, therefore, would require the abolition of that which produces death: sin. By the removal of the last trace of sin from obedient mankind, the authority of death will be abolished and death itself will be destroyed, and this is to be accomplished during the reign of Christ. (1Co 15:24-26) Thereby death, brought upon the human race by Adam’s transgression, “will be no more.” (Ro 5:12; Re 21:3, 4) Its destruction is figuratively likened to its being hurled into a “lake of fire.”—Re 20:14;
I feel for your loss..Even Jesus cried when his friend Lazarus died. But there is a promess resurrection for the righteous and the unrighteous and in this we find confort.
May GOD be with you in this days and confort you in this difficult time.

Why? Is a good questions. Things happen for a reason, you have to remember that. When God is ready to take you out of this world we have no choice. Even if you're young like that. If God wants you, he gets you. That's one thing we have to understand about God. If it wasn't for Jesus we wouldn't be here right now. How do we repay him? Buy doing things that are bad. Not obeying what he says in the Bible. Things we need to think about. Death is heart breaking but it's for a reason. And just because somebody get's murderd, it's not God's fault. Never blame stuff on God.

OMG i feel so freakin sorry for you because for all those sahara aldridge fans I was her BFF. We have been friends since forever and people say i am lying. Which i am not because i have known her since forever. We are the closest friends and she died from the cancer she was fighting. Life will never be fair. Why cant it be? The reason life is not fair is probably because god put the challenges along with their hard obstocles on the earth for us so we can learn from the ones that betray us, the ones that love us, and to learn from our mistakes.

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of ur friend. To be honest with you, the truth is life is not fair because there is a Devil that really does exists!! People like to pretend that that is fake and a bunch of hog wosh, but its real. Read the bible and it talks all about satan. Satan does exists and he is nothing but evil.. The bible says he comes to steal, kill and destroy. The bible also says that satan roams the earth seekign whom he may devour. The only way to be protected from satan and his evil plans is to accept Christ into ur heart. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and he is here to protect us. God does not cause harm but when people do not accept Christ and when people want to live life without Christ, he respects their decision and does not invade their freedom choice, so he is not authorized to protect them. All i can say is have a relationship with Jesus.. talk to him and pray to him and he will hear ur prayers.. Also ask God to help u live a life without sin.. I hope this helped..

Life is never fair, the only thing you can do is keep on trying to survive. I'm sorry for your loss. My baby cousin died of a drug over dose in Russia and no one cared b/c she was of mixed race. There are some people in the world who just shouldn't exist, the killers of innocents.

No, life is not fair. Life merely is.

Since the sorrow has turned to anger, you are moving through the process of grief appropriately.

Guess who causes the problems in every example you sight?

People.

The world isn't messed up, people are messed up.

People are unfair, and unjustly harm others.

Change the people around you, and you will change the world.

Life is not fair because Sin is not fair and this life is full of Sin. If you want Fair, then choose God for only God is Fair. The fairness He promises is the Reward He will give those whom have chosen Him. The Reward is collected in the Perfect Life He offers which is free from Sin -- for Sin will be permanently destroyed (in all fairness).

God bless.
