I've once received Best Answer and the asker posted a comment about how wrong I was but gave me the Best Answer anyway.

You may give a real good answer to a person, who already has an answer they want for their question. Sometimes your best answers that you don't expect come from honest question askers, and you actually have help them more than you thought. There are serious searcher for the truth, mixed in with those who want affirmation for their rigid viewpoint, mixed in with people who are not serious at all. It is a little like a lottery. But, keep trying I am sure you are helping some people.

I agree with Red Queen. The unexpected ones are best, although I HAVE been given "Best Answer" when the person asking the question wanted to get a dig in at me and apparently felt that choosing my answer as best and making a nasty little comment was the thing to do.
How did I look at it? 10 points

lol good question...actually I am surprised by some of the Best Answers I get even though I knew I deserved them anyways! I think I got a best answer on some question about relationships. Was very surprised because I don't know a thing about keeping one!!!

Well even if it does seem like the best answer among the bunch of others. sometimes the person who posts the question will pick a stupid answer that has nothing to do with the question. I always hope to get every question I answer right. but that's being a little to cocky don't you think? LoL
