I really think young and have always been trendy. Worked many years in the garment center in N.Y. this one I just don't get.

I realize that some people object to tattoos and body piercing but let me try to put it in perspective.This sort of adornment of the body is meant for personal satisfaction not to upset others.The piercing and tattoos are a very small part of the person.We spend a lifetime telling our children to not judge a book by its cover and then are quick to make assumptions based strictly on the visual.Shouldn't we take the time to get to know someone before we form an opinion.For the record I have neither tattoos or piercings.Just ask yourself would you love your child less if they had them?Good people come in all shapes and sizes.How boring life would be if the world contained only people like ourself.Take care.

Not me personally, but I think some people find it as a sign of strength, or confidence .. how ever that is =P
Walking around looking like a comic book ( as you said ) can sometimes be either weird, or cool .. depending on your culture/how you were raised , etc., etc.
I am really not sure why people do all this crazy stuff..

what perfect mold do you think your made from??? people each have their own taste and many probably would not really prefer the things from the shop that you worked in.It is called different taste. Have you ever seen Kat from the show Miami Ink?....

I figure they get the tatoos so that when they get really old and wrinkled and are in a nursing home someday they will give the nurses and other people who are taking care of them something to laugh at.

Why do asian people like lighter skin?
Why do tribes in Africa have really big gauges?

it is about self expression what you like. i think people like tattoos because it is art and older people get tattoos too. i personally do not care for body piercings (besides ear piercings) but i feel its your body and you can do with it what you want.
