OK so here's my situation. While I was in 9th grade I was diagnosed with a rare medical condition and shortly after quit school normal school and began doing school online. The problem is that for the past 2-3 years of my life instead of doing the work like I was sopposed to I procrastinated and pissed all the time away. Now I am 17 and should be a senior in high school and am still considered to be in 9th grade, o yeah and my "medical condition" went away completley. I am physically and mentally healthy and have a clean record. How can I get into the ARMY ged program, and has anyone gone through it?

you must have the GED in hand first, not to mention you may be DQ'd for the medical condition..even if it has 'gone away'

the National Guard does have a program where you can start drilling and then get your GED within a certain time period, though..assuming you canpass the medical.

If the military accepts you and you are signed up, the Army has a delayed enlistment program that you will be entered into in order for you to get your GED through the military and once you receive your GED you will then be given a date that you will go to basic training and also to an MOS school.

I think you have to have your GED BEFORE you go into the Army.
