i have 2 eight week old puppies i have had them for a week i also have 2 adult dogs who are vaccinated against parvo
i feed the puppies twice a day this morning the black puppy got distracted and never ate her breakfast at 3:30 pm she vomited(similar to my older dogs when their stomach has been empty for two long) I fed them after i cleaned the mess i gave the black one her full days food twice as much as one regular meal and then i had to run out i was gone for an hour the black puppy had soft stool and urine in her kennel and of course had gotten it all over. I took them outside and cleaned up then gave her a bath. She wanted to play and until the bath was trying to run around with her sister not lethargic. Now she is curled up in her crate with a blanket drying off. There was no blood or anything and during the bath she was trying to drink the water so i am wondering if it could be parvo or if her stomach got upset because she didn't eat this morning and then ate way too much.

I am a vet. Have these pups been vaccinated yet? If not do that first. Parvo is usually vomiting with very bloody diarrhea. And if a pup doesn't eat.....do not double the amount of food for its next meal. That is a good way to make it sick.

I think she was over fed.. You should be feeding them 3-4 times a day.. Spreading the meals out through out the day will help to avoid problems like this. You gave her too much food. She should have only been given her one meal portion.

Signs of Parvo...vomiting , not eating, lethargy, bloody diarrhea, and Parvo has a certain odor to it when the virus stars to shed. The only true way is to go to you vet and have them due Parvo SNAP test.

They need to see a vet. The puppies are plenty old enough for vaccines and worming also....then parvo would not be a concern!!!

Get to the vet!!

some symptoms are similar to parvo but others are not. since there is no blood in the poop i would say not so yet. i would definitely take he to the doctor though. also if they suggest a big 500 dollar treatment dont do it. they can only be up to 50% as lively and immune as before. also give her Gatorade to replenish her electrolytes.

Could be. Feed the pup LOTS of Pedialyte. I've seen a couple dogs come out of it with that. But, bring the pup to a vet, of course
