How do you KNOW that he didn't? You can speculate based on logic or experience but in the end you can no more prove that he didn't do it then you can he did!

Back in those days, if you failed the king it cost you your life, there was no way a roman guard was letting anybody escape. Jesus arose just like the Bible says he did, another way I know is because the Holy Spirit in my heart testifies that he did, When you accept Jesus into your life you get Born Again spiritually. The Holy Spirit then comes and lives in your heart and helps you to become a better Christian and a better Human Being. The Spirit helps you to become people Billy Graham who gave his life to preaching, Mother Theresa spent a lifetime in poverty stricken areas full of disease and death, there are many more that I could name who have done the same thing, they would not have did this if there hadn't been something supernatural going on in their lives. Jesus and the Bible is real, harry potter is fake, pick up a bible and start reading, you might be suprised what you find in there, attend some church services during the Christmas season, Jesus is the reason for it you know, the wise men brought gifts, Jesus is the reason for the season, don't let anybody kid you, In america long ago just like thanksgiving, it is away to honor Jesus and remember his birthday. Good luck and God bless!!

The word Faith is used often in the Bible for a reason. While we cannot prove that Jesus rose from the dead ( since we weren't there), we are to believe He did through Faith. To not believe is to not truly be Christian. As for being faked. Were is a mortal man, doubtful. After being beaten as he was and Crucified, even were He to have survived, He could have never escaped the tomb and would have bled to death anyway. There were no transfusions, surgeons, etc. back then.

No. When given the detailed facts of His beating and the crucifixion itself, it would have been impossible. He was probably hanging onto life before the cross. Also the veteran Roman soldiers guarding his tomb the night before, would have been able to stave off an attack to steal the body. When the tomb was discovered by the women empty just at the advent of dawn on Sunday morning there were no soldiers to be found. He had been out for sometime already. He was likely up before even the sun on Sunday while it was still dark.
His disciples were hiding that day with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish authorities. After they had seen Him, they feared no more. They spread the Gospel even at the threat of death. One Pharisee even became an apostle. Something must have convinced these men to have such pronounced faith.

It would have been quite a stage show to fake a flogging and crown of thorns followed by a short hike up a hill while being nailed to a cross where you would hang for 3 days prior to a stab in the belly with a sword... JUST so that you could claim that you've "risen from the dead" to promote your ideas to a small group of believers.
Sarcasm aside, you'd more easily be able to argue that it was "folk-lore" then try to say that it was "faked".

I read a book a long time ago which explored the theory that Jesus was sedated by the concoction he was given to drink while nailed to the cross, after he was taken down from the cross his followers took him and nursed him back to health. According to this book Jesus left Palestine and came to the Americas where he died of old age. The book goes on to explore the myths and stories attributed to this mysterious individual in the very early Americas. The Bible offers one account for this event. There are many more books and theories on this subject worth reading about. The truth is out there. Keep up the search!

As "problem" stated, the Romans made sure He was dead before they took Him down.
Christ's birth, sacrifice and resurrection were prophesied more than 500 years before He was born. Every part of His birth, life, death and resurrection was written about. And every part was fulfilled. Even the stone that weighted SEVERAL TONS was rolled away from His tomb, as was prophesied.
Faked? Not even a remote possibility.
Not only that, but He is the ONLY One who ever raised from the dead after being in the tomb 3 days!
Wise men STILL seek Him.

I don't see how. Read the gospel accounts again. We're not talking about in this day and age with illusionists like Cris Angel et al running around. We are talking ancient Jerusalem. The powers that be were concerned about this very thing and went to great lengths to have the tomb guarded and the big stone put there. Plus Jesus appeared to many people after his resurrection.
The whole basis of the Christian faith is the resurrection of Christ. I don't see how the apostles (who before Jesus appeared to them were running scared and ready to give up and go back to their lives from before they met Jesus) would suddenly step up and risk their lives for a lie. They certainly didn't stand to gain anything from it at the time, as they were persecuted and killed for telling their story.

Just in order to have a motivation to study the subject may I suggest you first to assume resurrection is possible. Just like they did with the first attempt to fly: nobody believed except for some folks that society called crazy.
Reading a book covering the issue may help. "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel will do just fine.
Then... comes the scary part: you search for him. Call me crazy but if you'll search for Him (Jesus) with all your heart, He'll let himself be found by you. Then you should be able to ask Him if He rose from the dead.
Hope I helped.

Right, it could've been faked, however given that many of the people who made the claim were killed for it and why didn't the Jews or Romans just go and produce a body?

You have to ask yourself, would every single one of the apostles given their lives for what they knew to be a lie? They had absolutely nothing to gain by lying in this manner, and everything to loose.
So, yes, if you believe at all in any of the events in the new testament, it is possible that it could have been faked, but it is highly unlikely.
