on her withdrawal day, the day this student decides that it is her last day and is. Why would a professor still feel a little uncomfortable even after he said he wotuld a week before.
Is it because he thinks my friends and I are close enough for me to share any insight between him and I.
This professor said he wanted a relationship with me but only after I graduate or no longer attend the college.
He always made it clear to me that he could get into deep trouble if I exposed the conversations we would share.
We had something going on but no physical contact.
He was very shy and quiet, 27 years old.
But with me he was pretty open and relaxed, but still
a little reserved.

So why would he feel uncomfortable giving out his number... if let's say HE really did like this girl and she really liked him
(over 18) ?
he would make a paranoid face when we would talk even teacher-student talk, he would get kind of red when a teacher would pass by us.But during decent conversations.

Because it is against the paper he signed not having relationships with student within three years of having taught them. It is unethical as he may be able to pull strings for you down the road. Too, it prevents relationships that come about that way from becoming too paranoid about the other student he/she may be teaching and thinking maybe he is messing around with another of his students as you had already set the precedent.

It's kind of common because there isn't usually much of an age difference. Now if he was 27 and the student was over 18, I guess its okay, but It's not allowed at 90% colleges.

Well maybe its because he still sees you as a student and not someone he would date. Even though he likes you and all he still might not want a relationship because he is only attracted and not wanting more. Again he probably still views you as a student even if you are legal he may find it inapporiate. You should talk to him about it and see whats really going on.

why are u messing with your college teacher ...you have no idea what ur getting him into ...i dont think it really matters that your not attending that college ...things have a way of getting around and people could say some pretty nasty things about him ...i still think its inappropriate for him to have any kind of relationship with you other than a student teacher relationship ...just move on for his sake ..the risk is just not worth it ..good luck
