First, get a new repair service. Then, check with a reputable service as to what the issue might be. It could be as simple a thermostat, or leak in a hose as I myself experienced a few years back and was also told I needed to tear into the engine (head gasket). Good luck to you!!!

I'm just guessing that you have had the thermostat changed and that it was actually checked over and found to be the head gasket. If so, there is a product called BARS LEAK on the market that has been used for years. This may very well solve the problem as a temporary fix. It's also good for you're cooling system even if you don't have a problem. Also we used to use a product called silicon silicate(liquid glass) but this product will interact with the aluminum head and stop up the radiator so don't let anyone sell you on using it. Try the BARS LEAK and see if it helps. If not, at least it didn't cost much and it is good for the cooling system. Good luck.

id have a shop check it first it may not be a head gasket bad on it,they can do a pressure check on it to determine what might be causing it to do that,it could even be a bad water pump doing this, either way if you drive it you will ruin the engine in it,that's for sure,id have a good repair shop check it,then go from there with it,it may turn out to be something simple like a bad thermostat,or a hose collapsing on it,you wont know for sure though until it has been checked,i hope it turns out to be something simple,i know we all need a break right now on money, maybe you,ll get lucky with it,good luck.

if you were told your head gasket was leaking, why did you have to replace the radiator? who told you that the head gasket was leaking?, is it an obvious leak or did someone pressure check the cooling system? did a garage make the diagnoses?,
how much was your estimate for the head gasket work if it was a garage that made the estimate?
try checking the price on an engine from a salvage yard,

Who did your headgasket? and did they source it from Chrysler or Dodge?
The Multi-layer Steel gaskets from the dealer are the ONLY way to fix them. The parts store kind just blow in 30K miles!
I would still run the list of low anti-freeze, bad fans, bad thermal switch, bad thermostat.
A real shop/tech should be able to diagnose in minutes.

sounds like thats right, you could buy whats called block sealer, its not a permanent fix but it may work for awhile, you put in your radiator and it works its way into your block.
