See a doctor. Without medical intervention you might continue to get worse. Then you won't see a doctor because you will be too depressed to do so. Also try physical activity, that helps. Good luck.

Hi, I suffer from depression and it does have its ups and downs I can definitely relate. I went to my medical doctor and was started on medication. but, what can also help is a councilor to start with because there may be some issues going on and it can be delt with without medication. This time of year can also lead to depression with all the stress. You may want to look at your diet and exercise routine and if its non existant you may want to impliment one.
But, the BEST ADVISE I can give is to just get away form thinking about yourself and focus on someone else less fortunate. Visit a nursing home, volunteer to help with Bingo or something. Go to a animal shelter and volunteer. Or a children's hospital. Just call the recration or activity departments and GO!!! You'll be surprised at how much better you will feel and you'll forget all about being depressed.
Hope you feel better. I will pray for you!

See a doctor. Depression is an illness that can be treated. Your symptoms are in keeping with classic depression, and you may need to get a couple of things off your chest. Drugs can also help, I take anti depressants and they help take the edge off, but nothing helps as much as talking to a friend or a counsellor. Good luck. Depression so sucks.

I understand where you're coming from - I suffer from depression myself. It took my girlfriend telling me she's seen the signs and to get help before I acknowledged it myself. I went to my doctor, who agreed I had the classic signs - constant crying over nothing, lack of sleep, feelings of uselessness (why am I here, what's my reason for living? etc, etc)....and on it went. I was given some medication which helped, but it took some months before I began to see a change in myself..... mostly it was a change in attitude that hepled me. I have had to let a lot of things around me "go" a little - the housework for example I don't fuss as much as I used to....first thing first - speak to a health professional and get some help - you don't need to suffer this alone. It can be turned around - don't feel weak asking for help.....you don't deserve to feel down and angry..... good luck - if you need more help or simply talk IM me......

It is impossible to give specific advice without knowing details like age, sex etc.
Still, first off I would say take a break; from your place and your daily routine. Try trekking in the mountains or driving through the countryside: get the outdoors. Then figure out why you are doing (job, studies) what you are doing. I would strongly caution against medication of any sort.

You should talk to your doctor or make an appt with a counselor/therapist. You don't have to feel this way. It could be something that some talk therapy can take care of or you may need to take an anti-depressant for a bit. They are helpful and many to chose from. You are not alone, and you can feel better. Good luck.

talk with your doctor, but home remedies could help as well... taking walks outside so you can get the fresh air you may be lacking. airing out your house or changing the lights in your house to accommodate not being able to take walks. Read a few books that you would usually read. or pamper yourself for a day. just leave the drugs to your last resort trust me. good luck

Sometimes people get or feel depressed when the seasons change. The days are getting shorter so there is less sunshine and its also getting colder. And sometimes we just get in these moods, its normal, if this persists, maybe you should talk to someone about it.

Dont let yourself be depressed! Remember, YOU choose your emotions, not your situation! You only have one life to live, so make the most of it! I cant emphasize this enough, DONT waste your time being depressed, believe me; its not worth it. When you wake up in the morning, dont say to yourself "Ughh, another day to try and get through." Say "Today is a beautiful day and the sun is shining. I am me and can do whatever i want! I dont have to be depressed, my life is good." I do want to help you, depression is a terrible and wasteful state to be in.
Just think of it like this, "Well, youre not dead!"
