There have been many contributions by Christians. Read a little about Mother Teresa and how she helped the poorest of the poor in the name of God and how her sisters continue to do so. There are so many stories like this. There are MANY MANY charity groups that feed the hungry, provide medecine, clothing, basic needs to many people that are Christian organizations. People on here who reply by saying "bloodbaths, etc" must be fortunate enough to not need help or are ignorant of the fact that they do. I know how my church community helps the homeless, people in poverty and people who just need help. If you need a meal there is a number you can call REGARDLESS of your religious beliefs and they will deliver food. The community stands by its members in bad times and good times. War in the name of God is terrible and I recognize that this has happened before and continues to today BUT when people get so ridiculous to say that Christianity does nothing but bloodbaths it is obvious they are ignorant.

Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, giving medicine and praying for the sick and hope to the lost. The good news of the gospel have offered hope , nothing else could. Don't confuse Christians with Catholics as the above answerer has.

Inventive methods of Torture.

Torture was the accepted method to deal with heretics (which could be anyone who spoke out against the church, or anyone deemed offensive... such as a Jew) for over 600 years.
