I come on here to read and hopefully answer questions about SOCIETY.
It seems to me that YH need to give you people your own Headline category "Religion" that is separate from "Society & Culture"
That would let the rest of us who couldn't care less leave you to get on with it.
Please, please, for "gods" sake please agree and help do this

My suggestion is not a "subheading"! Give Religion It's own heading so like when I skim down to what I am interested in I can skip past Politics and Religion.
Come on people, either everyone agrees or disagrees with you and we don't want to have to sift through stuff we have no interest in. That still we have to face in society?

Second Edit
The point I am trying to make is that there is really no point in having Society & Culture with Religion as a "sub category" because 90% if not more of that category is swallowd up by Religion, so why not make Religion the Headline Choice?
Then for the rest of us who enjoy YA but couldn't give a flying **** about religion didn't have to put up with you "God Botherers"?

Third Edit
In main categories in YH we have the likes of:
Beauty & Style?
Cars?
Dining Out?
Food & Drink?
Games & Recreation?
PETS????
Sports?
All placed in importance above Religion to have their own Headline Topic?

Well, Steve, whether you like it or not... Religion is huge part of Society and Culture.

Yes religion & spirituality should be a headline category then the rest of don't have to trawl through the mundane categories of eating, sleeping, mating & defending lest we wake those who are still asleep to the realities of our existence. As long as you do not investigate the spiritual dimension of existence you remain on the animal platform and a lot of us are interested in higher things than the above 4 categories so yes lets have a seperate category.

If you can't understand that the building block of any Society or Culture is Religion itself, then maybe you shouldn't be answering any questions from this category. They're like peanut butter and honey- inseperable (so far, anyway!).
A society is built with the ideology that everyone wants the same things (security, protection, employment, etc). Religions want its followers to believe the same things and act the same way.
So, I'm afraid the way it is now, Religion under the heading of Society and Culture is very accurate, and isn't likely to be changed.

I agree with you,(partly) in fact i have stated before that religion is not the same as spirituality when a religious person told someone with a non-religious opinion not to be on this section.
However, i don`t see why anyone can`t have an opinion on any topic on YA, they do not have to have a vested interest in that topic.
Edit: LOL - see answer above to illustrate my point exactly (why do folks who post an answer think they are in a little `club`?)

Religion and Spirituality is it's own category, under the general heading society and culture. There are many sub categories and no general society and culture questions. I would suggest I suppose you pick another sub category.

There are other sub-categories in Society and Culture. If you don't like this category, go to another. It's rather arrogant to expect everyone talking about R&S to leave R&S rather than you click the correct link.

Pluto would have more life on it than Society and Culture without R&S, unless you are into answering racist questions in the Culture & Groups catagory.

It is apparent you did not see that one of the subheadings of society and culture, is religion and spirituality. That is why there are so many questions concerning it. You can fine tune further and just go to whatever site you wish to be on. I choose religion and spirituality.

celebration of existence can in basic terms ensue interior the present 2nd. and since the present 2nd is what brings us in touch with God, then that must be a stable ingredient. excitement springing up interior the midsection facilitates us to be in remembrance of the essence of God. this is the essence of God himself. i do no longer understand if a serious individual is handicapped and creates barriers. actual thinking too plenty, and not being spontaneous, and too plenty e book gaining awareness of and concept, are barriers to communing with God. God can't be reached by way of concept, yet in basic terms by way of being in and residing the present 2nd.
