My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over 2 months. She says she is happy and I can tell she is. Well in a couple of weeks her and her ex have plans to go see a movie together. They have hung out a couple of times, but my girlfriend insists they are just friends. She says there is nothing for me to worry about. The reason she broke up with him is because her mother and sister did not like the way he treated her. She said she would never go back to him. I told her I just don't understand, but would get over it. Is the a big deal or not?

Sounds like she is quite innocent about this but he may not be. So you could suggest that if he wants to hang out with her, that you come along too. Maybe he could bring a date as well. That will soon identify whether he just wants to be friends with her or if there is something else going on in his mind.

No, I don't think it is normal. If he is an ex-boyfriend she should not be going to the movies with him, unless you are going too.

Suggest that the three of you go. If she objects, then I guess he is not the ex-boyfriend, I think YOU are!

If my husband's ex-girlfriend came to town and wanted to see him, I would think that is great, however, the deal is that I get invited along, or else it isn't happening.

Good Luck.

Sorry to hearken to about what you went by ability of, guy. My spouse examine the sequence as a probability free diversion even as she change into convalescing from surgical procedure, yet we are both surprised at how this has change into an obsession with such an excellent style of youthful girls. basically examine out distinctive the exhibit screen names in this website, like "Mrs. Cullen," or "<3 EdwardBella." this is fairly scary. i imagine I understand why. this is because Bella is this style of sparkling slate. In literary words, she's a Mary Sue. All she is, is an awkward, awkward youthful lady who thinks she isn't especially or particular. She's no longer even somewhat a personality -- she's only a automobile for those thoughts and attributes. and then this magnificent, suitable guy swoops in and announces his love for her and rescues her each and anytime she journeys on a crack contained in the sidewalk. (as if some one hundred-12 months-previous vampire is going to fall hopelessly in love with some nondescript 17-12 months-previous lady ... and why? because her blood smells yummy? provide me a damage.) In different words, this is only a huge wish-fulfillment sequence. Any lady who's in the slightest degree unhappy at the same time with her existence can damage out into this sequence, relate with Bella's awkwardness as she begins to mature into womanhood, and then imagine they are able to looking a similar problem in genuine existence. the priority is, this does no longer exist in genuine existence, nor could it. Edward is a stalker, and his courting with Bella is better about administration and obsession than this is about love. this is an exceedingly undesirable problem to be writing for impressionable youthful girls. no longer to point, this gadgets lower back feminism by ability of a sturdy 50 years. I propose, what message do you're taking from this sequence, except that a woman isn't some thing with no guy to shop her, preserve her, and make her entire and finished? i'm a guy, and *I* change into indignant by ability of the characterization.

Hell yeah it is. They didn't break up cause she wanted it too. She broke up with him cause her family didn't like him. That means she still likes him. Don't take that!

yes, big deal if it makes you uncomfortable. you have to talk to her about your feelings of being uncomfortable with it and why and how it makes you feel.
and listen to her point of view.
