Here are the results of the pulmonary function test
Findings:
Spirometry: Forced vital capacity 4.52 L or 91%. FEV1 5.06 L or 102%. FEV1:FVC 93%. FEF25/75 6.14 L/s or 121% of predicted

Lung volumes: Total lung capacity 6.99 L or 91% of predicted.

DLCO: Diffusion capacity 47.55 mL/min/mmHg or 126% of predicted. Airway resistance Raw 1.06 cm of water/L/s or 73% of predicted. This does decrease by 55% post bronchodilator. Flow volume loop is normal.

Impression: Normal pulmonary function test with the exception of decreases airway resistance with the application of bronchodilator suggests mild reactive airway disease, although doubt the patient has significant asthma.

Don't let people's negativity stop you from pursuing your dream. It's not your fault that you developed Asthma. I think you should try to join. While in the process of joining they will tell you what you need to do. Don't worry about "taxpayers money". You sound like a patriot to me and I wish you success in joining the military.

Regards
Rebecca
