My American Citizen wife and I have filled out an application for Adjustment of Status thru a Lawyer; how long does it take for them to review it and then call you for the Interview...?

Usually 6 to 8 months. But these days, everything is backed up due to unexpectedly huge amount of applications before the fee hike and July Visa Fiasco. And you go to the local USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Service) office, not DHS, designated in your interview schedule notice.
