As long as your not suicidal then I think it's okay. I'm not afraid to do die but that's because I have a strong spiritual foundation and so I don't fear what's going to happen when I pass on. But if for you, it's more like not caring about your life or having nothing left to lose then you might want to see a doctor about depression. It depends on how the thought makes you feel. Are you apathetic about life? There are signs that point out to depression and being in danger of suicidal tendencies but other signs point to having a lot of faith. You have to look within to find out which it is and then act accordingly. *hugs*

I don't think about dying very often. I just hope that when it happens, it's sudden but painless. Sometimes though, I think that no matter how long I live, I'll never get to do everything I would like to. Other times I think that everything's so difficult it's just not worth the effort.
But it's not what's on the other side that's scary. It's the journey there.

I used to feel like that a lot last year, and I used to this year. The reason I felt like that was I was having problems with my family and friends. I was stressed, and it seemed like no one was there for me. I felt totally and completely alone and secluded from the world. You are probably a little bit depressed. Try keeping a journal or writing song lyrics. If you can find a good friend to talk to, that can help a lot too.

I stopped fearing dying after my dad died.
For no reason at all I just didn't fear it any more.
Earlier this year I was being treated for depression. I actually wanted to die. This is a lot different from not fearing death.
