seems like people think this applies to everyone else. Just wondered why you personally, dear reader, feel you're not the one being spoken of?

I don't rely on good works (Is. 64:6, Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5) but only of the work of Jesus on the cross. His Grace is sufficient for such a sinner as me.

From your posts, he seems to be talking bout people like you. You cannot see the difference between the Law of Moses and the Law of Grace. I'll bet the Epistle of James is your favorite New Testament scripture. EDIT: Yes. The WHOLE Bible. But, what does that mean? You got one thing, I got another. John 6 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

I had to examine whether I was just such a person...and I found out that I was...Now I rely on God to guide me and I hold him to his promise that if I actively seek out his truth, that he will reveal it to me..what else can you do?.
I got on y knees and made a pact with God when I was looking for a church. God promises us that if we seek him, he will guide us...so I Promised him that I would seek him with all my might, and He would have to reveal his truth to me..I was so afraid that I was going to be deceived again...god has been faithful...there is absolute harmony in his theology...If I am wrong, it is on him now.
Lavender....It is God's Promise to me and there is no sin in holding him to his promise...NO one that I know has researched the gospel to find truth more than I have....I am good with God and saved by grace...I do not believe, as you do, that I can lose my salvation......I also noticed in an earlier post, that you claim that we are apostate...you have a lot of research to do...do not worry about me...i am secure in my salvation...I have been in the cults and now I am a Child of Christ.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour. He is my best friend. Any good works I do is for him and because of him. I try very hard not to sin against him. I do not want to stand before him with my head hung in shame. That alone keeps me on my path.

If that was so, I already would be "blinded in faith, my heart would be cold, although I seek I will not find, and even when opening and reading the Holy Bible, I will not comprehend any knowledge."
God works in mysterious ways. Depend on the Holy Spirit as our life depends on it.
UPDATE: Ms. Lamb "If I am wrong, it is on Him now." Please do be careful in what you say. Just a friendly reminder from me to you........"NEVER PUT GOD TO THE TEST." If you make a mistake and there's people that don't believe you, "NEVER PUT THAT BLAME ON GOD." (My caps).
UPDATE: Hello Ms. Lamb, I said "apostates" that is true. I did not mention no names. If you allow yourself to add your name to the apostates; it is not I, but your conscious talking.
Peace between you and I. We love Christ Jesus.

Draw close to God and he will draw close to you. If you are a worker of iniquity, then you are not drawing close to God. And God would now draw close to you.

I don't rely on my works but rather mourn the weakness of my faith and works. however my hope is a sure hope as I rely on Christs sacrifice and works on my behalf and God has testified that in Him He is well pleased.
