Yes. High enough to get a DUI.

No, you're not really drunk. A male that weighs 175 lbs. can reach this from 4-6 beers in an hour. If 1 was sober and 10 was near-unconscious, I'd say it's about a 4. One would be well over the legal limit to drive, however.

First off, the guy above me who drank something like 15 beers and blew that low, those machines are NOT accurate. I assure that you did NOT get an accurate reading. With that, I learned in criminal justice college classes that depending on your height/weight a .08 is 1 to 3 1/2 beers. So at 5'7 128lbs, if I have 2 beers in a one hour time, I would hit .08. So really, it's not that much. .16 isn't healthy obviously, but hey, we all do it. MADD is trying to get the legal limit lowered even more, to I think .06 but even my lawyer college teacher said it wouldn't happen, because and I quote "It'd only be a sip"

It is double the legal limit in most states. One night, I went out with a friend. We drank for about five hours. We didn't pull some huge bender or anything, but I probably had 15 drinks over that five hours. At the end of the night, we were in a bar that had a novelty breathalyzer. So I put in my quarter and blew. I was 0.09, at that time, still legal. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. I don't know what you have to do to get to 0.16, but I wouldn't recommend ever doing it...

That is double the legal limit of .08 in the US, so I would consider it quite high.
