do you not believe in God? How else do you explain how we got here?

Oh you know... we came from monkeys... or maybe fish... but only after NOTHING exploded and magically created everything you see today... :-????

I couldn't agree with you more dear... unfortunately, these people really believe what I just wrote as making more sense than being created... kind of amusing and kind of sad...

I find it interesting how so many ask why believe when 'science' states God doesn't exist. Hate to tell you this but 'science' hasn't disproven God at all, only that perhaps God set up this universe with these rules. Perhaps that 'science' is part of God.

Strangely enough whenever I read a book that tries to dispute God's existence, it actually does the opposite and strengthens my faith in the fact that God put all this here.

The 'big bang" could have been God clapping his hands together?

The real big bang theory

God Spoke and

BANG!!!!

It happened.

It doesnt seem normal to accept that everything we see came from nothing. The trees, stars, ocean, and every creature on the face of this planet. I talked to a secular evolutionists once, or i forget what he called himself, but i asked him if he thought that i was logical that everythign we see came from nothing, and i asked him that if a man went and took all the materials needed to build a house and put them on an empty lot, would that material ever evolve into a house? and he stopped me and said, wait a minute, you cant compare those two things because your comapring something that is not living to something that is living, and i thought about it, and and i was thinking, well what about evolution, it says that everything around us came from two rocks in space hitting eachother in space, isnt that comparing the exact same thing i compared. Thats why i dont believe it, because if we look around, at the things of this world, everything has to be built, cars, houses, rockets. But what about the things in nature, they are so beautiful and unique. There is no man on this planet who can create even create a twig. Thats why i not only believe, but i know God exists.

One other thing to think about, the big bang theory states that two rocks collided in space and thats how everything started, well my question is what was driving those rocks? Something had to be putting some type of force on them that would cause them to collide?

Jesus loves sinners, but He hates the sin. Seek Him.

Big Bang Theory, but it isn't very likely that a single cell made out of randomness would survive and then evolve to be life as we know it, also it is hard to believe that in the universe there is infinite space and also that there isn't infinite space, I mean, is there a wall at the end, how do you explain that time only goes forward and not backwards, or without pausing it, how do you know you will live to see tomorrow...

Obviously there are other ways to view the universe and us than creation (how we got here) - or that argument would win more often.

I know God exists, so I figured maybe you would listen if this was pointed out by a believer.

Why oh why do you not believe in Zeus?
Why oh why do you not believe in Odin?
Why oh why do you not believe in Unicorns?
Why oh why do you not believe in Quetzalcoatl?
Why oh why do you not believe in Dragons?
Why oh why do you not believe in Osiris?
Why oh why do you not believe in Mermaids?
Why oh why do you not believe you are a total idiot?

If you want to find out how we got here, go read a science book.

Do you not accept evolution? How else do you explain how we got here?

The Earth is billions of years old and in all that time not one single tiny shred of evidence has come to light to show the existence of a god.

Not again. How can you believe in a god? How can you close your mind to reality just because its more comfortable?

I do believe in God and Jesus but I think your question should be more specific.
